Returns Policy

At The Finch Collective, we want you to love your purchase. If something isn't quite right, we're here to help.

Change of Mind

We accept returns for change of mind within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be unworn, unwashed, and unused.
  • Have all original tags attached.
  • Be in their original packaging.
  • Be free from makeup, fake tan, deodorant, perfume, pet hair, and any other marks or odours.

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be declined and sent back to the customer.

Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Refunds

Eligible change-of-mind returns can be refunded to the original payment method or issued as a store credit, depending on the product purchased.

The following items are not eligible for refunds for change of mind:

  • Sale or clearance items.
  • Gift cards.
  • Final sale or promotional items marked as non-returnable.
  • Intimates and swimwear (for hygiene reasons), unless faulty.

Exchanges

Need a different size? We offer exchanges subject to stock availability.

If your preferred size is unavailable, we can provide a store credit or refund in line with our returns policy.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

We take great care in ensuring every order is of the highest quality. If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order with:

  • Your order number.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Clear photos of the item.

If your item is deemed faulty or we have made an error with your order, we will provide a replacement, repair, refund, or store credit in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

How to Start a Return

To request a return, please email us at [your email] with:

  • Your order number.
  • The item(s) you'd like to return.
  • The reason for the return.

Once your return is approved, we'll provide instructions for sending your item back.

Processing Times

Once your return has been received and inspected, please allow 3 to 5 business days for your refund, exchange, or store credit to be processed. Depending on your bank or payment provider, refunds may take additional time to appear in your account.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.
